- Connie from Officials Gear Outlet will be at the meeting for anyone who needs to purchase equipment for the coming season.
THSBOA Rules and Mechanics Tests are open.
- An official who normally does not officiate any 3-Person assignments or will not be eligible for Postseason does not have to take the 3-Person Mechanics exam. An official who primarily officiates 3-Person assignments is not required to take the 2-Person exam. However, you should check with your local chapter to ensure local testing requirements are met.
- An official must pass the online exams with a minimum score of 70% in order to receive games assignments or game schedules.
- To be eligible to officiate Postseason Playoff Games, UIL/TAPPS assigned games, Regional and State Tournament, an official must score a minimum of 90% on the Rules Exam and 3-Person Mechanics Exam.
- These are the minimum requirements under THSBOA.
- Once an official scores a 90% or above, they will not be able to retake the exam.
